Unreachable Dream
UNREACHABLE DREAM The emerald represents the belief we hold onto even when no one is watching. Inspired by The Great Gatsby, it symbolizes the idea that the future can redeem the past, not a person or a place, but a feeling tied to memory and hope. This work explores how we construct dreams and project meaning onto them, often chasing a version of ourselves that existed before life became complicated. The emerald remains just out of reach because it was never meant to be possessed. Its purpose is to guide us forward. The piece reflects on belief as a powerful force, one that shapes who we are, even when the dream itself can never be fully realized.
